The seventh week of Dancing With The Stars definitely had its ups and downs. The judges were being tough this week, giving couples lower scores than they should have received. I really enjoyed watching Alexa and Mark dance an Edward Scissor Hands inspired Paso Doble. Everything about the dance was great. It would have been nice if they received a 10, but the judges gave them all 9s. Bindi and her partner received a perfect score. They had a good dance, but it did not stand out. My favorite dance was performed by Carlos and Whitney, dancing to a Phantom Of The Opera inspired Paso Doble. Carlos performed a ton of difficult cape work, but he pulled it off! Their score was 28/30, which was shocking. I was hoping for a better score. Every year around Halloween, Dancing With The Stars has two group dances. The couples were split into two groups and had to perform a freestyle routine. Which ever team has a better score wins. Team Nightmare went first. Their dance was the best Halloween freestyle I have ever seen on the show. They were given a 30/30! Team Who You Gonna Call made mistakes in their routine, which ended with them getting 28/30. I think the group dances were judged fairly. The couple who went home was Hayes Grier and Emma Slater. Everyone was shocked. They did not deserve to go home. I felt bad for Hayes because you could tell he really wanted to win. In my opinion, this episode was disappointing. I hope next week's episode is fantastic.

This week on Dancing With the Stars all the performances were inspired by famous dances. Tons of fun dances were performed, and guest judge Olivia Newton-John thought so as well. Andy Grammer, Bindi Irwin, and Tamar Braxton were the three stars' who revived perfect scores. Andy's dance was full of spirit and energy, but I think it was not worth a perfect score. Bindi's Dirty Dancing-inspired rumba was beautiful. Bindi's partner Derek admit he was nervous for the big lift, but he was glad that it worked out. This past week Tamar's  self confidence went down... a lot. The previous week she did not revive good scores which upset her, and she was sick. Poor Tamar! Gladly, she surprised everyone with a cool Janet Jackson-inspired dance. The choreography was really good. Paula and Louis were eliminated, which was expected. Next week's elimination will be really hard. Everyone left in the competition is definitely a contender. The next episode is Halloween themed. It's my favorite week in the whole season! A dance will be performed by each couple, as well as a group dance. There will be two teams. Derek has never lost a group dance. I am excited to see if he achieves this again. This week's dazzling performances definitely made it a good episode.

Week 5 of Dancing With the Stars definitely had some changes. This week, each person traded dancers. Everyone had a different partner for this week, but do not worry next week everything is back to normal. Maskim Chmerkovskiy was the guest judge this week. He really surprised me with his comments and scores. He was not as harsh as I thought he would be. The first perfect score of the season was received by Alexa and Derek. They danced a tango that had a Halloween vibe. To be honest, I did not think their dance was that great. Carlos and Lindsay danced a quickstep, which is one of the hardest dances to perform. They pulled it off! They received at 39/40. Their dance was my favorite performance of the night. Another shocking performance was a rumba performed by Alek and Emma. They were really into the dance, and they loved dancing with each other. The dance was beautiful. Sadly, they received a 29/40! I was truly upset, and wished they were given better scores. While I think Olivia Newton-John would be a good contestant, next week she will be joining the judges table. No one was eliminated this week, but next week someone is going home. I personally think Paula has to go. As things go back to normal, I hope next week's episode is full of fun performances and surprises.

Week 4 of Dancing With The Stars shocked me! The host Tom Burgeron was replaced by Alfonso Ribeiro for the night. Alfonso made everyone laugh and he was definitely a good host. Next week the champion of season 18, Maksim Chmerkovskiy will be a  guest judge. I bet he will give out harsh comments on the dances he judges because he is a perfectionist. I was very surprised when Allison Holker announced she was 4 months pregnant! She said she will continue this season with Andy and try her best. Hayes Grier performed a contemporary dance with his partner Emma Slater. The dance was beautiful. Hayes and Emma received a 27/30, which they seemed very happy receiving. The dance of the night was Bindi Irwin's contemporary piece. Bindi and Derek lit  up the stage with their graceful jumps and lifts. They received a 28/30 and got the first 10 of the season. Gary Busey and Carlos Penavega were in jeopardy, which  surprised everyone. Gary Busey got eliminated, which I thought was fair. I was sad to find out Carlos was in jeopardy. Even though he does not get the best scores, I think he has the potential to win.  While the dances were good this week, I thought the fillers (guest host, Allison's pregnancy, etc.) made the show more exciting.

This week's episode of Dancing With The Stars was definitely filled with tons of shockers. This week's theme was TV Icons. Alfonso Ribeiro was the guest judge. I think he gave out  fair scores, and critiques. Nick Carter and his partner Sharna Burgess danced a beautiful Viennese Waltz to the theme song of the show Downtown Abbey. They received a 36/40, which I was very disappointed about. I felt their performance was worth a higher score. Alexa Penavega also received a 36/40 with her jazz dance to the Breaking Bad theme song. Her performance was very entertaining and fun to watch. Her performance contained many lifts and cool tricks. Alexa and Nick were tied for first place on this week's leaderboard. The show shocked everyone in the ballroom when it announced Kim Zolciak was disqualified. Kim had a stroke that week and was not able to perform. Hopefully Kim will feel better soon. Next week's dances are dedicated to the dancers' most memorable year. I am very curious about what to expect for next week.
