Nyle Dimarco is such an incredible person. The judges this week criticized him very badly, and he acted so cool about it. I really feel like the judges broke Nyle's happiness. He acted as if he was ok, but inside I knew it hurt. This week Nyle did a dance with a mask on. The mask fully covered his face, making him look like a completely person. He had to shave off his facial hair and he was definitely not happy about that. His dance was my ultimate favorite dance preformed this season. It had so much energy and the dance just looked like so much fun. The choreography was great and the costuming was spectacular. I do not understand how the judges didn't see that dance as an amazing number. Nyle deserved way better scores. Next week I hope that the judges give him the scores that he deserves.

Jodie Sweetin is a fierce competitor on this season of Dancing With The Stars. She puts her best into every performance she does and has a large amount of potential. This week during rehearsals, Jodie nearly broke her nose. She is also suffering an ankle injury. I hope that she does not get eliminated due to her injuries. Hopefully Keo can help Jodie and give her nice choreography that she can execute well without showing that she's in pain. In past seasons, Keo has not gone far into the competition. I definitely don't want him leaving now. I hope that Jodie soon recovers, and makes it to the top.

Dancing With The Stars this week was upsetting. It was switch up week, so everyone switched partners. I thought the new pairings were well picked out. My favorite paring was Sharna and Nyle. They danced beautifully together and even earned the first 10s of the season. They definitely deserved it. I like them better as a team than Nyle and Peta. Besides them, none of the other dancers received good scores. The judges were fair with the scores, but I think they were a little too rough. Paige and Sasha definitely deserved better scores. Sasha made Paige look elegant and swift. Her dance was absolutely fantastic and did not deserve 7s. Next week will hopefully be better since everyone is going back to their original partners. Next week's theme is movie week so there will be tons of fun performances and I'm super excited for that.

I am so glad that I chose Nyle this season. Not only does he wow everyone with his dances, but he warms everyone's heart. Peta must be very proud to preform with Nyle every week. She tries so hard and puts so much time and effort into making Nyle and the dance look perfect. I noticed that her choreography this season has been a bit different. I'm not sure if it's because of Nyle being deaf or that she just decided to mix things up. I think the change is great. The moves she added were more crisp, yet elegant that have a consistent flow. I'm so happy that they were partnered together. They make such a great team. Their most current performance brought my mom to tears. She said she cried because they pulled off a great number and that they work so hard that it's just beautiful to see. I'm so anxious and excited to see what comes next.

Paige Vanzant is a star on this season's show who really stood out to me. Every movement she makes is very fresh, clean and crisp, but I don't know if she's going to make it to the end of the competition. She definitely will make it far, but I'm not sure if she'd get the votes. A few seasons' ago, Nastia Liukin was a fierce competitor in the completion. She was great, but she did not receive the votes. Her personality was dull and uninteresting. I feel like if Nastia acted a bit different around the camera she would have made it further. Paige is a happy girl, but I sense that when we get to know her more, she's going to get a bit boring. Hopefully that does not happen because Paige is amazing dancer and deserves to make it to the end.

Season 22 of Dancing With The Stars has begun and there were so many positive things about night one of competition. The dancers looked stunning in their elegant, sparkly costumes. The opening act featured all the competitors and a lot of pros who managed to pull off some great tricks and flips. That was so fun to watch, as always. Many dancers struggled since it was the first night, but there are many people that are good. The people who stood out were Paige, Nyle, and Wayna. They all move in different ways which shows a lot of character in how they dance. I'm definitely cheering for team Nyle. He pulled off classy moves while having perfect musicality, yet he's deaf! I find that really incredible. He and his partner Peta work so well with each other and it's so entertaining to watch. Hopefully they make far into the competition, maybe even take home the Mirror Ball.

The new cast of season 22 of Dancing With The Stars has been revealed. The cast is filled with a strange variety of stars. I am most excited for Jodie Sweetin to join the show. She plays Stephanie on Fuller House and does such a great job. I bet she can dance well too. She's really pretty and will look absolutely gorgeous in all the flashy costumes. Jodie has been paired with Keo Motsepe. I think that they are a really good together and will accomplish many things on the show. A great team name for them would be Jeo or Kodie. I think my names are cute, but I bet the name they use will be good too. This is Keo's third season as a pro on the show. He left early-on in the past seasons, but I think Jodie and Keo will make it far into this season's competition. They might even win!

Websites have recently been dropping a bunch of hints about who will be joining the next season of Dancing With The Stars. Most of the names announced are just rumors, but DWTS just released the first official contestant for the new season. Nyle Dimarco was the first person to be announced. Nyle is a model who does work nationally. He won the show America's Next Top Model which made him a huge success. Not only is he known for being a great supermodel, but he is also known for being the first deaf supermodel. Nyle faces daily challenges due to being deaf. Dancing With The Stars seems like it will put a lot of pressure on him. How would he hear the music? How will he interact with his partner? Who knows? His partner Peta Murgatroyd will give it her all to help Nyle get to the top. I feel that she will do her best to help Nyle win.
Robert Herjavec was a former Dancing With The Stars contestant. His pro partner was Kym Johnson. They barely made it past the halfway point during the competition, but they did try their hardest and made sure they put in a hundred percent effort. Personally, Robert lacked technique. He was not very coordinated and his feet needed much work. Kym tried helping but did not succeed. At least she tried. I have to admit, Robert did show tons of character in his dances which made each and every performance fun and crazy. Kym recently announced that she and Robert are engaged! Who knew that they'd end up together? Hopefully they have a good relationship and continue to live their life to the fullest.
I have recently been thinking about what makes Dancing With The Stars such a great show. The dancing is wonderful, but the costuming makes it exquisite. The costume designers do an amazing job in picking out what the performers wear. They make each outfit have so much character and they try their hardest to base the costume on the dance. Every costume I've seen on the show excites me. They dazzle and shine like the dancers. That is one of the reasons Dancing With The Stars is an incredible and fun show to watch.

The new season of Dancing With The Stars is getting closer and I keep getting more and more excited. Rumors on who might be on the show are spilling and I'm now getting so curious about who the future cast will be. I was most interested hearing that Antonio Brown might be on the show. He is a football player for The Steelers. It is surprising that most sports stars who join the competition do not make it very far. Even though Antonio is a sports star, I think he'd make it almost to the end. He has so much ease when he's playing football. He has so much agility and I think that could bring something new and special to the dance floor. I think if he ever did join the show, Peta Murgatroyd would be his perfect match. Peta puts in lots of funky character into her dances and Antonio seems like the type of person to be fun in the ballroom. He is the perfect contestant for season 22.

This week I'd like to talk about my most favorite competitors on Dancing With The Stars. The winners of season 18, Meryl and Maks, were my all time favorite. Meryl Davis is a Olympic gold medal winner for ice skating. The way she moved on the dance floor was just like how she performed on the ice. She was perfection. Every week she did her best thanks to her partner Maks for encouraging her. Every single performance she did left me speechless. Even on her worst days she still did much better than the other competitors. I was team Meryl since day one. The first time I watched her dance, I knew that she was going to win. She definitely deserved the mirror ball trophy. After Dancing With The Stars, Meryl continued dance. After tons of practice, she joined the DWTS tour. She stood out when she was on stage. I love Meryl so much, and she will continue to be my favorite.

A couple days ago, I discussed Dancing With The Stars with my creative writing teacher, Mr. Aeen. We're both huge fans of the show. Every season we create bets to see who will win. I always look forward to attending his class because we always have something new to share about the show. Recently we discussed how the contestants on the show are getting paid lots of money. We thought that the stars joined the show to lose weight, or to prove to themselves that they can do whatever they dream of. Mr. Aeen and I were shocked to find out that for every week that the competitor preforms, they earn thousands of dollars. The more times they dance, the more money they make. Last season's winner, Bindi Irwin made half a million dollars being on the show. This surprised both me and my teacher. Now we know why people were so compassionate about joining the show!

I'm so excited for 22nd season of Dancing With the Stars. The show premieres March 21st with tons of great performers and new contestants. The cast has not yet been announced, but a few cast rumors have been revealed. Season 21 winner, Bindi Irwin announced that her younger brother Robert might join the show. Robert is only 11 years old. That is the youngest ever on the show. Who knows? Maybe Robert will take home the mirror ball trophy like his big sister. Robert said that he has truly inspired by watching Bindi perform every week on the show. He arrived to every taping of the show, and thinks that it would be a lot of fun, yet hard. I would love seeing Robert on the show. He has such a good personality, and always seems happy and cheerful. I wonder who his pro partner would be? Whoever it is, hopefully they try hard to get Robert to the top! Hopefully these rumors turn to reality.
